It's Spooky Season

How is it mid - October already?! Somehow we have blown right by summer and landed in fall. Although, here in Texas, the mother nature still thinks its summer so I have to hold off a little bit longer on sweaters and boots. Even though it may still be 90 degrees, we are kicking off all things Halloween over here! I have partnered with Crayloa to show you some of our favorite DIY crafts which will be hitting my Instagram later this month. In the meantime, I wanted to give you all a sneak peak into my favorite Halloween crafts, foods and activities.
Chalkboard Paint Pumpkin

Of course I love my kids crafts but what if we could make them a bit...cuter? These chalkboard paint pumpkins are a more chic version of painting pumpkins and fun twist for the kids! Click here for more details.
Strawberry Ghosts

If we can get our little ones to eat fruit, that's a win right? Even if it may have chocolate..? All you will need to do is melt 1 bag of white chocolate chips and 1 cup of milk chocolate chips then dip the strawberries into the white chocolate and place on a sheet of parchment. I like to drag the chocolate a bit to add a "tail". Set and let them dry then put the milk chocolate into a baggie, cut the corner and use it to draw eyes and a mouth.
Jalepeno Popper Mummies

Jalepeno poppers are one of my favorite party snacks - so why not make them spooky?! These are great for a Halloween party or just as a treat any time this month. Here is my favorite recipe!
Mummy Jars

Sticking to the mummy theme, these neon mummy jars are always a hit. They can be used to store candy, pencils on your kids desk or anything else you can think of! The neon ones are fun and colorful for the little ones but you could also make them all black for a bit of a stylish tweak. Here's how to make them!
